Inspired by Brexit and Donald Trump, Last Village on the Right is a delightfully tongue-in-cheek comedy-horror, following a group of American film makers on the way to the Cannes film market to sell a horror film, when they get lost and find themselves in a stunning small mountain town in the South of France, where a strange couple, Adolphi and his wife Kiki, seduce and murder tourists. A wealthy lawyer, Melvin Allen (Larry Flash Jenkins) meets and marries a much younger wayward woman off the streets Nina (Cece Peniston) but married life is not lasting long when he catches her in bed with his best friend. He files for divorce but she doesn't sign divorce degree after Melvin meets another woman, Grace (Kim Yarbrough) to marry until God steps in.
The movie is to combine a film noir-style investigation with an exploration of altered states of consciousness, focusing on the story of 50-year-old Otto Ganz, the owner of a thriving building and civil engineering company that operates worldwide. One day he has to travel to North Africa to deal with some urgent issues and there, Ganz is confronted with memories of his youth, which he had tried to forget for many years.
